Introduction

I've provided this page as a overview of what should drive discussions around in the future of Region 12 and decisions related the growth.

Churches in Region 12 are at a disadvantage due to the shape or our States, which creates challenges when it comes to communication, growth, reaching others and distance to travel to church or fellowship.


Resources

Resources strengthens a ministry and gives it the ability to affect change in different ways. A lack of resources or an abundance of resources determines what services a ministry can offer.

Service

At the core of ministry a service is provided. A ministry services the needs of communities, families, and people.

Business reporting

Federal & State reporting

A church as defined by the Federal & State government as a not for profit business. You have a reporting obligation to Federal & State government and if you are a Pastor you have an additional reporting requirement.

Reporting to the national

A church is a reporting entity. Which means we have a reporting obligation to the National body of the Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ and to the government. For example, pastors must fill out a pastor's report when reporting to the national body.

Who are your customers

People and money are at the core of the ministry. The more people you have increases your potential for growth.

Product

People come to church to get or hear information relevant to their situation. Information is a ministries product.

Communication

Why is communication important? Communication sets the tone for interaction, building understanding, team work, etc and helps to bridge gaps in relationships, and stronger fellowship.

Information and vision

Information and vision sharing is at the core of our proclamation. Most people will choose a church or visit a church based what they heard about the church weighted against their particular needs, or the needs of their family or the simple need to cure their curiosity.

A vision ensures that everyone is looking towards the same goals and shape their auxiliaries and thinking to match.
